Brandon United FC suffers damage and needs your support........

Please don't pass without sharing

Over the last couple of weeks it seems like the Welfare ground has been targeted by mindless vandalism which is having a detrimental effect on our club.

The newly formed committee are trying tirelessly to generate funds to keep the club going and provide an excellent play form for football along with supporting our youth teams.

Recently 4 floodlights, glass and bulbs have been shot through with what seems to be an air rifle or similar. The cost to replace these are £650 each!

It not only costs a lot of money to repair it also puts mid-week games in jeopardy as without a full lighting system games cannot be played as we have already experienced this week

The club have received lots of messages offering support and many people suggested setting up of a “go fund me page” so that people in the area or associated with Brandon United may offer to help.

When we updated the clubs Facebook page about the damage the post was shared and viewed over 9,000 times. All we ask is that every single person shares this post and donate to help the club out if possible, even if it’s £1 towards the fund it would be greatly received.

We need £3.5k to replace the floodlights.

Would like to improve the lighting around the clubhouse and entrance to the Welfare ground to make it feel safe and secure when the ground is open.
